Publicly condemn their actions as much as you like but you can't deny that it brought the attention that it was looking for.

I am Australian and I am against child pornography, but I am also against Internet censorship. They are separate issues and child pornography should not be used in support of Internet censorship.

With freedom you get the good with the bad but the technology is not to blame. The Internet is not Disneyland.

I also agree that this new policy will not work,
I'm also sick of the government telling us what we can and cannot do, last time i checked we are a democratic government, not a fucking communist government (pardon my french.) also on that note what other countries have a filter; Burma, Peoples Republic Of China, Cuba, Egypt, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam...

Australia was promised high speed internet when we elected Kevin Rudd, he has spat that promise back in our face, the amount of speed loss in Australia is going to set us back. i believe it is going to be 30% - 45% Nation wide.

i believe the people who founded this whole "lets censorship Australia" scheme must never of used a computer in there life.

If they did realize, that if you pumped money into the police force and not into this censorship you would be doing good, people would want that policy in.

Stop acting like a Hero, and do whats right for the country, STOP PEDOPHILES AT THE SOURCE. (coming back to the police funding.)
besides i bet the government wouldn't even have an accurate table of the amount of illegal websites visited by Australians nation wide.

if i myself, a 15year old who i believe have been blessed with knowledge within IT can see that what the government is doing wrong, imagine what i could do when i was older eh?

They obviously feel the government is not following its own laws, which makes what they did valid. And it is much less violent than previous ways the public had to use to force changes.

The alternative is what, everyone to goto the capital and stage a sit in to prevent operation of government offices?

The way they chose eliminates the risk of violence, and does not prevent the government from working.

We all need to stop calling it an attack, or using the word target!!! It was a protest! And it was peaceful!!!
